Day 30: Knight light.

The end of the challenge.

…

For now.

Really the challenge has just begun for me.
These are my first steps into toy making.
The ideas, the initial drawings, the dreaming.

For a self critique, I didn’t come up with anything overly original, I’ll be the first to admit that. Really, looking back, I drew monsters, heroes, heroines, Villians and some in-between.
A lot of sword and sorcery fantasy, some aliens, Pirates! And a lot of Glyos love.

But that’s just it, I drew the stuff that I want to make. Horribly selfish of me I know. As I let my hand do what it wanted, I hoped that those of you who followed along got some inspiration too. I hope I created something that you might like to have in plastic, on your shelf, in your toy box, most importantly in your hands!!! (or your Kid’s hands if you think you’re too grown up for toys.)

Something that can go with you in your pocket and remind you that life is richer when we dream, when we create, where we can maybe escape to another world temporarily to find solutions to our own problems or challenges.

I hope I’ve found something in this that I can leave to you, to my friends, family, my children. I think I have… Now it’s time to get back to work!

Oh yeah, this guy above?
A dragon rider. Day 4 was the Dragon. I’ve yet to figure out why this guy looks like a glowing gem… You tell me!

i so which i would have thought of this! i've been trying to come up with cool gimmicky toylines for my comic project i'm working on. you really need to look into making these reality, a whole line called knight lights. an all ages cartoon or something.

You're just seeing the beginning here with these, the very first design drawings. Expect changes and evolution in the designs, and know it takes a long time to make a toy, and a lot of Moolah. But I plan to show my progress all along the way.

sorry i always get ahead of myself my buddy who works for round 2 the company that puts out captain action figures,always has to slow me down when i'm suggesting a bunch of stuff they could do. so good luck man i hope all this comes true and i'll be watching.
